New Moon (also known as The Twilight Saga: New Moon) is an upcoming romantic-fantasy film scheduled for release on November 20, 2009.

It is based on the novel of the same name by Stephenie Meyer and is the sequel to 2008′s Twilight, which is based on Meyer’s previous novel. Directed by Chris Weitz, the film will star Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, reprising their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black, respectively.

Melissa Rosenberg returns as the screenwriter for the film. She handed in a draft of the film script during the opening weekend of Twilight. Summit Entertainment greenlit the sequel in late November 2008, following the early success of Twilight.

Robert Pattinson was born on May 13, 1986 in London, England. He enjoys music and is an excellent musician, playing both the guitar and piano.

When Robert was 15, he started acting in amateur plays with the Barnes Theatre Company. After, he took screen role like Ring of the Nibelungs (2004) (TV) (Kingdom of Twilight) as Giselher.
